Fireworks...on second thought...
So, we tossed around the idea of going to see the fireworks last night, but we didn't...and good thing too because it rained. We started the day feeling pretty lame - we didn't have any plans and a lot of our friends were out of town. But we had brawts and "if you cook them, they will come." We ended up having a very good time. Our friends Katherine, Carin, Kelly and Scott, and Tiffany came over. We ate well, drank good wine, and played some Settlers - can't beat that! We'll try the fireworks out next year, he'll enjoy them more then anyway. Happy Belated 4th!

We thought about attempting fireworks too but changed our minds when we realized they'd be let off a whole hour after Zane's bedtime. We felt slightly like losers too! Ha! But we ended up watching them from my parents house as he slept there.
bloomington did theirs on tues. night so that worked really well. i liked it that way, then we could do whatever we wanted on wed. we watched transformers. it's good!
