Things about my job

I've been thinking recently about some of the benefits of my new job. Some of you have heard me say that I'd like to do private practice some day. To do that you need to be paneled on various insurance providers, but after this job that won't be a problem. As far as I can tell, they've paneled me for every insurance known to man. I keep getting forms to sign with little "sign here" sticky notes and then later I'll get emails saying "congratulations, you are an accepted provider for..."

They're very accommodating to the part-time schedule. Let's talk about the meetings - As a part-time employee, they're a lot more flexible with my attendance at meetings, which is nice! Even the ones I have attended have never been more than 45 minutes long. They don't try to drag out meetings just so we stay till 5:00. In fact, they really only expect us to work the school day.

They have support staff just for us that remind us when things are due and prepare the necessary paperwork for us. It's still a job and there will always be things I don't like about anywhere I work, but so far it's been a nice fit!

Sounds wonderful!! I'm glad you found a good fit.

I was just thinking of you. I'm watching Ellen and one of the actors from Heroes is on. I know you are so excited for next week!

Like Kelly I thought of you today watching Ellen. Almost called, but was sure by that time it would be over. I am glad you are enjoying your new job and I know it feels good to be flexible so you can spend more time with Evan. It is worth it!!!
Love ya!
