Apartment Life

It's amazing how quickly something can become familiar. We've adjusted to apartment living as best we can and it's started to feel more like home. We found a way to bring Elliott and keep her litter out of the way, and even she seems to be adjusting well.

Evan has been sick or something this week. He's gotten a new tooth and that might have something to do with it, but he's had a low fever and been pretty fussy. Yesterday when we got home he threw up a little. While I was wiping it up, I looked over to see Evan wiping the floor too. He then started to wipe down the rest of the living room...my little helper!

We're in the middle of his transition from 2 naps to 1 nap. I'm really going to miss that morning nap! Today I kept my mommy-friendly workout going during that time. Our apt building has stairs so I took my monitor with me and just did laps around the building - hopefully no one was trying to sleep! I had to cut it short though, because he never really fell asleep.

We have a super busy weekend planned. We're looking at a few houses, going to my sister's for a halloween party, volunteering at a Special Olympics bowling event (with Evan, we'll see how that goes,) and then of course - watching the Colts v Patriots game...Go Colts!!!

I used to work for Special Olympics and Bowling was one of my favorite events! Glad you guys are adjusting and that is exciting that you are looking at houses this weekend! Oh, and we are trying to make that 1 nap transition, it isn't easy. Good Luck...GO COLTS!

See you at the party and look for Ryan at the Patriots game. The camera always seems to find him :)
