Evan's vocabulary increases every day, and I've been taking each "non-mama" in stride. He's so close. I know that he's going to call out to me any day now, so what do I care if he said da da, truck, car, bubbles, down, no, this, go, bye, hi, and "where did it go," all before he said mama. I don't, but this is where I draw the line...Jeff told me that Evan said another new word today -
trash. That's just ridiculous. He said the word for garbage, before referring to me as mama. I get no respect!

Look at my two boys...I think they're in cahoots!

He knows how much it's annoying you and is flat out torturing you at this point. I find it sort of amusing!
try teaching him "jeanelle" instead. see if that works...."mom" is too easy for him!
