A Waste of $25

Jeff: There's plenty of things I could think of doing after a long day of work on Thursday night. The Office is on. My Name is Earl is on. But the welfare of my unborn son is important to me as is peace in the home, so Jeanelle and I went to our "how to take care of baby" class. And let me tell you, you could have just sent us the DVD and baby doll ...

Jeanelle: I would agree that this did not meet my expectations. It seemed to be more of a "refresher" than a class designed for those who know nothing which is the category we fall under. Hopefully the one we take this week on Breastfeeding will be more informative.

Jeff: I wonder how "hands-on" this next class will be - if nothing else, the subject matter will be less boring.

Jeanelle: Hmmm... I actually am curious how they will "teach" us something in class that we can't really practice while we're there - we'll see ...

Jeff: But on a different note, we got more baby stuff this weekend - Lots of clothes, a swing, and a tummy mat ... still holding out for that stroller ...

Jeanelle: This week's shower was with all of our friends from Common Ground. It was a lot of fun and this shower's cake was fantastic in its own right because our friend Kelli made it herself - her buttercream frosting was delightful not to mention her amazing decorations (see picture). Our friends pitched in to get us the swing and they already had it put together for Jeff! We have not tried it out yet on our cats, but they did have fun playing in some of the boxes (see picture - just kidding, we won't really put our cats in it). Also included in this entry is my 34 week picture.

Jeff: One more shower to go - the big enchilada - big money, no whammies. Daddy needs a new stroller - and some new bedding, to match his unfinished painting. More on that next episode. Peace out.
