Thumbsucking

Evan's new thing is learning to suck his thumb. He's been actively sucking on his hand for some time now, but has recently begun just sucking the thumb. I'm so amazed as I watch him learn each new thing, even something as small as thumbsucking. We went to Babies R Us today to pick up a few things and we started looking at toys. Soon he'll be sitting up and playing with things more independently. We feel very strongly about not overloading Evan with tons of toys, but at the same time, play is a baby's work - so we need to have fun toys that he can learn from. I don't want to get him too many, so the ones we do buy him have to really count. Anyway, just another new thing to think about on this journey called parenthood!
