Our "Vacation"

We've decided not to go anywhere for our vacation next week. This will be the first year since getting married that we haven't taken a real vacation. We had looked into going to a beach town in Michigan, but by the time we decided on something, most of the hotels were booked. Then there was all of the house craziness last week...In the end we decided it might be nice to just spend the whole week hanging out as a family. Plus the money saved will eventually buy us something nice in the new house. So far the itinerary includes the zoo, helping my sister move, and taking Evan for his first swim. I bought him a pool seat a while back to use in our friend's pool, but I just haven't gotten around to taking him...it will be nice to have Jeff there for that anyway. Not sure what else we'll do, but whatever it is will be relaxing! We have tossed around the idea of taking a cruise soon though - you know they have childcare on those boats!!
