Dirty Hair

I know, with a catchy title like that I should have all of the world wide web reading this post. It's probably a metaphor or euphemism right? No, this entry is actually about dirty hair.

Have you ever had one of those mornings where you wake up and realize that your hair looks awesome, in fact, much better than it did the day before or any day that you styled it yourself? Yesterday was one of those days for me. It was wavy in all the right places, the part was perfect, and it had great shine. So, I started thinking about leaving it dirty. You know, all the celebs do it and my younger sister swears by it. I was so blinded by my gorgeous hair that I forgot the few terribly unsuccessful times I've tried this in the past.

I'm plagued with oily skin and my hair follows suit, "but it looks so good," I told myself, "today's the day it works." Oh and did I forget to mention that it was picture day at school. Of course, it didn't work and before I even got to school it had already started looking oily and lifeless. By midday I felt dirty, my part was greasy, and my head itched - fabulous! Luckily, I was able to dodge the cameras, but will have to explain to my principal later why I was absent from the yearbook. Do you think he'll understand the concept of dirty hair? Oh well, I've learned my lesson. The next time my hair tries to tempt me into the cliffs, I'll know better!

You are so funny I did something similar today. I had a massage from Morgan and left my hair the way it was thinking it would look better without washing, I would just wet it down, yuck. I am not doing that again!!!

i only wash mine twice a week & i'm proud of it! and i do it in the evenings so it doesn't look "just washed" during the day. but, i guess when you have horse hair that works

I have made this same mistake...sometimes In think it looks great in the morning, but by the end of the day I want to cry it looks so bad!

I hate this! How do they do it? Sometimes I can get by with it but rarely!

Someone told me once that baby powder helped take away the oiliness of it. Tried it and I looked like I had gray hair! Oh well!
