God works in mysterious ways. I told you that we've been all over the place about this house we looked at. Well, today we decided to go ahead and put an offer in after we look at it one more time this weekend. We were still a little iffy, but were going to make an offer pending inspection that way we'd have an out if there were more things seriously wrong with the house.
Not even five minutes after telling our realtor this, she calls back and says that she just got a call from the agent on the last home we put an offer on, saying that they're dropping their price by 12k! Jeff and I talked it over and have decided to make another offer on that house. This is the first offer we'll have made on a house that isn't so ridiculously low there's little chance of it being accepted, meaning - more than likely we're going to be homeowners soon! Of course, we're still coming in on the low side and this time we're asking for some allowances too, so there will definitely be some negotiating. But, with their starting price already being in our range, a compromise will be more easily made.

Yeah! That is so exciting. Is this the one near our house...that would be soooo fun! Keep me posted and we will cross our fingers for you as well.
