House meet blog, Blog meet house

This is a picture of the house we'll hopefully be buying in a few weeks. We're still trying to figure out closing and move dates, but we should be all moved in by the end of January. We went to see it again yesterday and suddenly the house was everything we needed. When we made the first offer a few weeks ago, there were things we weren't completely happy with. This time we loved everything about it. I think God kept us from being that excited the first time around because it gave us negotiating power, and negotiate we did! We got a super great deal and that makes me love the house even more!

It may not be the best house we've looked at, but I think it's definitely the best house for us. The yard will need some work and it doesn't have the awesome tree line like the other one we wanted, but it does have mature trees and it's a big yard. Once we put in a fence, a nice patio, and do some landscaping, it's going to look really great.

This is a house that meets all of our needs and we could stay in a long time, without breaking our budget. Now we just have to resist the urge to spend all of our money on decorating and furniture the day we move in. It will have to be a process, and I can't wait to get it started!!
