I think I'll title this series, "boy with pepper...and foot stool...and some other things"

Today's been a nice day at home. I think my son is cute everyday (of course,) but there are some days that he strikes me as especially cute, and today was one of those days. We went to our toddler group, had lunch with Katherine, I worked out, and most recently we've been having fun with our favorite toys: the pepper, foot stool, and books. Luckily, he hasn't learned how to open the pepper yet!

We also met with First Steps today about his speech. We met with the intake specialist and scheduled his evaluation for next Friday. He actually seems really close to saying "truck" and "dad," but I'm not convinced yet. We'll see, maybe he won't even qualify, but at least it will put my worries to bed.

I took advantage of the sunny afternoon to take lots of pictures of my especially cute son. We don't get the best sunlight with the way our home faces. Taking pictures of a fast moving toddler can be a challenge unless you use flash, which I hate doing. I think Evan thought he was at a photo shoot, but I had some catching up to do...enjoy...

Cute pictures! I hope the evaluation goes well! We've had 2 experiences with First Steps and both were great! Griffin loved speech therapy and luckily didn't need it too long.

Cute pictures! The last picture reminds me of my husband. He always holds his hands like that when he is thinking what he should say (mainly trying to find the right words so I don't get upset - I've had my moments). That and rocking - he says they're both signs of being a genius. They kill me!
