Evan went in to the den and started patting the tv (which he's not supposed to do,) and eventually I understood that he wasn't patting the tv to be defiant, he was trying to tell me he had a show to watch. Apparently, he was missing one of his "stories," and that needed to be remedied. We sat down together and watched the Backyardigans, but it was in that moment that I realized we had to start making conscious decisions about what and how much tv we want him to watch. I guess that means I might need to limit the amount of tv I watch too...No, No, not my friend in the other room!

To Cartoon, or Not to Cartoon

good news is, that room looks great!
Ugh I hate this! Zane hasn't really gotten into TV but he seems more interested when it's on now. We do need some rest every once and awhile though!
I hear ya...I usually have it on during the day just to hear adult voices, but sometimes I will turn the screen off and just listen to what is going...then at least it kind of looks/sounds like the radio!
Cartoons can definitely be a life saver at times! I think moderation is key. He looks so cute sitting there on the couch!
