It had to be done

Evan got a hair cut three weeks ago and apparently I severely underestimated the freakish speed at which my son's hair grows. We love, love, love his curls, so we usually ask them to only take the minimum off. But, this time that only bought us a week of manageability. After that, his hair was back to unruly - picture something straight out of the seventies, or maybe this...

I can't fault him too much, though, he gets that crazy, thick hair from me - now you know why I don't wear my hair short!

So, even though we love his curls, this time I gave her the go ahead to take the clippers to those locks of his. I was a little sad when I saw all of his hair on the floor, but then I remembered how fast his hair grows - his curls will be back in no time. If his hair is anything like mine, he'll never have to worry about bad haircuts...just wait a week and it's back to normal. Well, hopefully, this cut will last more than a week. And, maybe this time we'll be able to enjoy his curls for a while before they get out of control!
