Really?!?

I came downstairs earlier and from across the room I, all too clearly, saw this ghastly creature by the wall. Here's the thing, I don't have arachnophobia, but it's pretty darn close, and I'm most certainly NOT the one in charge of killing spiders in our house. So, I was faced with a dilemma: get close enough to this spider to kill it (and apparently photograph it as record,) or let it roam free in my house and probably attack me in the shower later. I found neither option appealing, but went with the lesser of two evils, and mutilated it with Jeff's shoe (because I was definitely not using one of mine!) As it ran from me, I swear to you that I could hear it move - that's how big this thing was.

I may kill spiders when left with no other option (aka my husband being around to do it for me,) but you won't catch me getting close enough to dispose of them. So, this demon's carcass is waiting in the corner for my husband, because I am NOT picking that thing up!

That seriously made me about have a panic attack at my desk, and I don't even have panic attacks. I think the raid and then the Dyson for all its sucking and shredding power would be coming out to dispose of that monster. Seriously do you live in the rainforest or something, that thing is HUGE!!!

I won't squish them either! I go get the bug spray and spray them until they are white!

Haha, we had one just like that in our living room today...the girls ran over and told me there was a GIANT ant that I had to kill. My only option was to act brave and kill it.
