Third Place

I wasn't going to post about this, but I'm out of material, so...I participated in this weight loss challenge thing at my school this Spring. I was already working hard on my own in order to get ready for summer-wear, and figured, "why not make it interesting." Other than the people who placed in the top three, the participants and their weight loss were anonymous, so I'm not sure what the competition was like, but I came in third. I'm not saying how much I lost because depending on your perspective you'll think A) I'm a slacker, or B) I'm bragging, and I'd rather not give either impression.

I had no intentions of winning, I mainly did it for the accountability, but third place did get me a movie theater gift card, so that's cool! I rarely ever weigh myself, jeans are usually my scale, but having to weigh-in was helpful. I found myself thinking about that weigh-in when tempted to over-indulge.

I, on the other hand, weigh myself multiple times a day! Is that bad?? I do agree about the accountability to weighing in, though. It really helps! Weekly, of course, not daily!
