What did we do before the internet?

Last week we had a modem malfunction, and were without an internet connection for 2 whole days. Seriously, how did we do anything before the internet? It's amazing how much we rely on the world wide web! We managed to survive, though.

Luckily before the modem crashed I had gathered up several wish list pictures for my hair cut. I got it cut on Saturday and she did a great job. When I left the salon it actually looked like the pictures I'd given her, which is pretty amazing. I haven't posted a picture because I haven't taken one yet that I feel to be a fair representation - I'll try to be in a few of our vacation pictures.

Ahh, vacation! It's coming up soon and we're so excited. I'm not sure how warm it's going to be, so we may not get as much "lounging in the sun" time as I would have liked. I've found some fun activities that don't necessarily involve swimsuits like river cruises and dune rides, so either way, it should be a fun week.

Almost overshadowed by vacation is our upcoming 5 year anniversary this week. Evan is going to my mom's for the night and we're going to go see Wicked. I can't wait! I've heard so many great things about this show, and it's finally come to town. Jeff and I both read the book last summer and we're looking forward to seeing how it translates to Broadway. Plus, there's the sleeping in the next morning that's always fabulous!
