Movin' Up

Last night was our first sleep on the new mattress. I'm not sure if my quality of sleep was really that much better, but I could tell a huge difference the minute I laid down - it's way more comfortable than our other one. It's a lot taller too.

I wish you could take possession of a house as soon as the seller accepts your offer. We're getting so excited to move. All I think about are color choices and furniture placement! We won't be carrying over Evan's nursery theme to the new house, so he'll be getting a big boy room soon. He'll still have his crib, but the rest of the room will be more suitable for a toddler. I can't believe he's already old enough to leave his nursery behind. We're going to have so much fun setting up his new room! Since we knew we'd be leaving the condo eventually, we didn't really design his room with permanency in mind. Now that we know this will be his room for a very long time, we can be a lot more creative, or more so, Jeff can be more creative.

Evan is changing so much everyday. His new thing is pointing and grunting at things that he either wants or that he wants to call to our attention. We'll then tell him what it is. It's like we're really communicating. I don't know how it's possible, but I love him more each day. Especially on days like today, he's been in a super great mood and he's amazingly cute today!

You guys are going to have so much fun with the new house! It's so hard to be patient when you just want to get in there!

That's so cute that Evan is pointing at things...how cool to see him communicating to you guys in this way!

Before you leave your old place, you should take some pictures of Evan's nursery theme and enter them in this nursery decorating contest!! I just left the site and it was on my mind.

Congratulations on your new house! Claire

Hmmm...I still communicate that way. Sounds like Evan is really developing...and I'm uhh...regressing?

BTW, finally getting into Ryan Adams, any suggestions on albums to go get?
