My Hack

I have a link on my blog to Parent Hacks, a website devoted to helping parents share things they've found or come up with to make life easier. I always find super cool solutions to a variety of problems on this site, and today I'm submitting my own.

Our laundry room is downstairs and finding places to hang dry our clothes has been a challenge. I hang dry a lot of our clothes, because I can't stand it when my favorite T-shirt turns into clubwear. Shower rods work, but the only one is in the guest bathroom, because ours has a garden tub/stand-up shower combo.

This was our solution. We bought a tension rod for the laundry room and placed it perpendicular to the appliances to give us the most space. I guess it's a pretty obvious answer, but we thought it was ingenious.

SO smart. I wish we had a laundry room. Sigh. Stupid NYC.

And hey thanks so much for the mention - who knew I was a professional?
