A whole summer has gone by, and until today, we still hadn't been to our neighborhood pool. It was always just so much easier to let Evan play in our inflatable one. He's still a little young to get in the big pool and I figured once he saw the older kids having fun, he wouldn't want to stay in the kiddie area.
Now that school's back in session, I figured it was the perfect day to try it out, and it was. Lauren and the girls came with us, and it was a great way to spend the morning. The kiddie pool is pretty big and it's gated off so it worked out well. Plus, we had the whole pool to ourselves. The whole experience made me wonder what took me so long to get over there.

what a cool dude he is! I'm jealous....i wish i could hang out in the pool, or that our neighborhood had one... :)
We have a really nice beach club here and despite our having a membership, counting today, we've been there TWICE! Go figure!
